Robert Lee Foster, age 93, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Linton on April 21, 1925, the son of the late Clarence Foster and Mamie (Hensley) Foster.

He loved spending time with his family and also helping people with their TV's around town. He retired from Crane as a supervisor when he was 56 years old.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Cathryn (Johnson) Foster; daughter, Cathy Tennant of Linton; son, Robert V. Foster of Linton; grandchildren, Mike, Joe, and Shannon Tennant, and Jennifer Lynn Hooper; great-grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Jessica, Mason, Ethan, Braden, Kaitlyn, Wyatt, Grant, and Lilly; and his sister, Phyllis Ann Foster.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 2:30 pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, with military honors.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 pm and on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
