Ricky A. Jerrell, age 64, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Sullivan on May 17, 1959, the son of Roy and Nancy L. (Black) Jerrell.

Rick was a 1977 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. He worked for over 30 years as a welder at Corn Pro in Odon. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother of Linton; his wife whom he married on February 16, 2007, Nancy Lee Jerrell; two sons, Lee Jerrell of Linton and Clint (Nikki) Jerrell of Linton; a daughter, Kyllie Jerrell (Ryan Huff) of Dugger; step-children, Megan (Nick) Greenwood of Alabama, Caleb Bays (Megan Sutt) of Shelburn, and Cody Bays (Shayna) of Hymera; fifteen grandchildren, Halee Jerrell, Grace Jerrell, Dylan Jerrell, Bentley Jerrell, Layla Garwood, Breleigh Mason, Hudson Huff, Grayson Huff, Beck Huff, Brynnlee Greenwood, Caden Bays, Drake Sutt, Case Bays, Archer Sutt, and Campbell Bays; and two brothers, Tony Jerrell (Tami) and Roy "JR" Jerrell (Amanda), both of Linton.

He was preceded in death by his father and also by his granddaughter''s father, Brian Mason.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, with Pastor Phillip Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery south of Dugger.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM, and Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of service.
