Dana Martin Turpin, age 64, of Worthington, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Upland, CA on November 23, 1959, the son of Maurel "Tuffy" & Mary Dee (City) Turpin.

He was a graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School. He worked as a laborer for several years. He was a member of the Worthington VFW Post #7117 and Worthington American Legion Post #106. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Dana is survived by his parents; wife, Debbie (Westfall) Turpin of Worthington; sons, Jeremiah Turpin, Troy Turpin and Dustin (Danielle) Turpin; stepsons, Josh Carmichael and Chris Westfall; grandchildren, Tythan Turpin, Dylan Turpin, Wyatt Turpin, Blayth Turpin, Kylie Turpin, Rylan Turpin, Bryella Turpin, LeighLee Turpin and Steele Turpin; great grandson, Remington Turpin and brother, Kevin Andrew Turpin as well as several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornet Funeral Home in Worthington at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023 with Pastor Davey Dyer officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital through the funeral home.
