Regina R. “Jeani” Brown, 70, of Jasonville, IN passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Methodist Hospital. She was born February 2, 1949 in Linton, Indiana to Walter Gorby Jr. and Wanda (Bean) Gorby.

Survivors include her husband of over 51 years, John R. “Bob” Brown; beloved daughter, Jennifer D. Brown (Michael) of Linton; siblings, Victoria Kirton (Harry) of Jasonville, Michael Gorby of Hymera; aunt, Patty Hays (Tim) of Lafayette; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steven Gorby; sister, Nila Bose.

Jeani attended Midland High School. She worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Jeani loved to cook, care for animals, and always put others first. Above all, she loved to see her daughter Jennifer happy!

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10-2. Celebration of Jeani’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.

Interment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jeani’s memory to the Greene County Humane Society.
