Ralph Dewaine Bailey, age 84, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 2:30 pm on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Linton, IN on November 8, 1941, the son of Curtis & Lucile (Hopkins) Bailey.

He was an over the road truck driver for several years and then worked as a tree trimmer for the City of Linton until his retirement. As a jack of all trades, he liked to tinker in his garage during his free time but he absolutely loved to make his kids' dreams come true by building anything they wanted when they asked him to. He could do anything and made sure that each and every one of his children felt special as they were growing up. He was a beloved husband, dad and papaw who will be truly missed.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of almost 51 years, Wanda June (Saulsberry) Bailey of Linton; children, Susan (Mark) Buice, Denise (Brad) Wagner, Chuck Parker, Jr, Tim (Elisa) Parker, Michelle Drogich, Deborah Jerrell, Tracy Parker, Todd Parker and Trish (Sean) Dalhover; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as his brothers, Eugene "Gene" Bailey and Rodney "Beetle" Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Lee Parker; sister, Veronica Moss and grandson, Ryan Phegley.

Private services will be observed by Ralph's family.
