Patricia “Patti” Ellington, age 67, of Linton, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Linton, IN on May 12, 1955, the daughter of Richard & Mary Ann (Shanklin) Gullion.

She worked as a CNA doing home health care for several years and she also volunteered for over 15 years at the Roosevelt Mission as well as the Family Life Center in Bloomfield for over 20 years. She devoted her life to helping people and was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family but especially loved being a grandmother.

Patti is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Michael Ellington of Linton; daughters, Carman (Travis) Roach of Bloomfield and Christeena Divine of Ohio; daughter-in-law, Anita Duvivier; stepsons, Joshua Ellington, Andrew Ellington and Matthew Ellington; grandsons, Ronan Roach, Jensen Roach, James Divine and Eli Divine; great grandson, Carson Divine; sister, Terry (David) Davis; beloved Chihuahua, Brutus as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Earl Duvivier and niece, Jennifer Lacy.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, October 31, 2022 with Pastor John Riker officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund through the funeral home.
