Mildred Ernestine Howell, age 82, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Glenburn Home. She was born in Marco, Indiana on March 11, 1936, the daughter of the late Oscar Ashcraft and Alice (Cole) Ashcraft.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as caring for elderly people.

She is survived by her Sons, Johnny (Kathy) Howell of Linton, Kenny (Beth) Howell of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Debra Hamm of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Kimberly Howell, Steve (Rachael) Henderson, Mike (Jeni) Gerdts and Lori (Jimmy) Soots; great grandchildren, Alice, Henry and Georgia Henderson, Jager and Jetta Gerdts.

Mildred is preceded in death by her son, David Howell; siblings, Mary Tremble, Lloyd Silvers, Mike (Thelma) Inman, Donald (Marcell) Calvert, Harry (Kathryn) Ashcraft.

Privates services will be observed by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in Linton.
