Donald L. Weaver
/Donald L. Weaver, 86, of Terre Haute, formerly of Linton, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on May 15, 2018, in Terre Haute. He was born on March 29, 1932, in Linton to Floyd W. and Martha Pearl (Angleton) Weaver.
Donald was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #22 and the Linton Moose Lodge. Donald was employed at Jerden Industries of Bloomington as a Machinist, retiring in 1994. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.
Survivors include: two daughters, Donna (Bryan) Wagner of Lafayette and Ann (James) Mesaeh of Terre Haute; one son, Donald Weaver, Jr. of Linton; step-son, Scott McGee of Clay City; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandsons and one brother, Jerry Weaver of Beech Grove.
Donald was preceded in death by: his parents, Floyd and Martha; daughter, Rhonda; his companion, Joan R. Phillips; one sister, Betty J. Padgett; three brothers, William ‘Bub’, Hallie ‘Pat’ and Jim ‘Bones’ Weaver.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton. Donald will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton following military graveside rites by American Legion Post #22.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
