Mary E. Kirk, age 68, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 6:50 pm on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at McCormick's Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born in Lapeer, MI on November 23, 1957, the daughter of Carroll "Buck" & Catherine (Powell) Cullison.

She was a graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crafting and working her puzzle books while listening to her favorite artist's records, Elvis. She would listen to him every chance she could. Her favorite job in life was being a mom and grandma.

Mary is survived by her loving sons, Aaron (Carisa Treadway) Kirk of Clay City and Ryan (Cassidy) Kirk of Mitchell; grandchildren, Brendi Kirk, Lucian Kirk and Bellamy Kirk; siblings, Debbie Duell, Elaine (Allan) Cargal, Jodi Lorian and Jamie (Shannon Childress) Cullison as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington of Walton Funeral Service, Inc. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 with Jr. Blondell officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Greene County Humane Society through the funeral home.
