Marie Denise "Deni" Pigg, age 63, of Dugger, passed away surrounded by her loving family at 10:37 am on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at home. She was born in Linton on November 5, 1957, the daughter of Elmer Dewey & Carolyn Kay (Woolley) City.

She was a graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School. She worked as a purchasing agent at a medical lab for many years. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was like a mom to so many kids and loved them all like her own.

Deni is survived by her loving husband of 8 years, Gilbert Pigg of Dugger; father, Elmer City of Sullivan; son, Jason (Tiffany) Baker of Evansville; daughter, Brianne (Nathan) Martinson of Vincennes; grandchildren, Kaydance Guy, Eleanor Martinson and Weston Baker as well as her sisters, Kelly Diann (Joe) Hawkins of Vincennes, Jenny Leigh (Danny) Nagy of Worthington and Erica Dee Young of Brownsburg.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn City.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am at Worthington Cemetery on Saturday, February 20, 2021 with Jeff City officiating.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 pm.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, mask must be worn in the funeral home and social distancing will be enforced.
