Heidi E. Pigg, age 50 of Linton, passed away peacefully at 9:20 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at IU Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born in Sullivan on January 1, 1974, the daughter of Larry E. "Bootjack" and Penny (Smallwood) Reynolds.

Heidi was a 1992 graduate of Dugger Union High School. She received her Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies at Vincennes University and Bachelor of Arts in English at Indiana University. Throughout the years she worked at Teletron L.P. Cost Management Firm in Bloomington as an account executive, First Books Publishing Company d/b/a Author Solutions in Bloomington as a volume sales / printer liaison, the Dyar Law Firm in Linton, the Greene County Court House, and at the McDonald Law Firm in Terre Haute as a paralegal. She was also the founder of the Ginger Bread Academy Day Care and served as owner/operator from 2003-2005.

Heidi was a member of the First Christian Church in Dugger. She enjoyed planting flowers, working in landscape, spending time with her friends, going to her boys games and taking pictures, and taking care of everyone. Heidi had an infectious smile and was a friend to all who knew her. She never knew a stranger.

She is survived by her husband, Dane A. Pigg; two sons, Tietje A. Pigg and Cody E. Pigg; her mother, Penny Reynolds; three brothers, Mark (Sara) Reynolds, David (Paula) Reynolds, and Craig (Melly) Reynolds; nephews and nieces, Jackson, Jared, Madison, Megan Reynolds, & Josi, and Jada Pigg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Kathy Pigg; and a brother-in-law, Kevin Pigg.

Heidi was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 3:00 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 7:30 PM.
