Earl M. Robertson, age 84, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 6:05 am on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Greene County General Hospital. He was born in Sullivan on February 25, 1934, the son of the late Noble Donald Robertson & Eva Mae (Bedwell) Robertson.

He was an educator at Vincennes University for 26 years and was a member of the Gideon International for 48 years. He and Carolyn rode across the country on their motorcycle and loved every minute of it. He adored his family and spending as much time with them as possible.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of almost 62 years, Carolyn (Warren) Robertson of Linton, IN, sons, Kenneth (Brenda) Robertson of Pendelton, IN and Richard (Debra) Robertson of Kendallville, IN; daughter, Deanna (Steve) Engleking of Lagrange, IN; grandchildren, Meleah Robertson, Ryan (Ashley) Robertson, Darren (Jessica) Engleking, Elizabeth (Stephen) Kaufmann and Brittany Robertson; great granddaughter, Ryley Robertson; sister, Dorothy Robertson-Brock of Bicknell.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Hickory United Methodist Church on Monday, January 13, 2019, with Pastor Russell Patton and Pastor Glynn Wills officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory United Methodist Cemetery in Sullivan.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm and at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
