Donna Rose Hubbell
/Donna Rose (Major) Hubbell, age 71, of Jasonville, IN passed away February 2, 2020 at Cobblestone Health Campus in Terre Haute after a 36 year battle with cancer. She was born October 5, 1948 in Clinton, Indiana to Joseph Major and Antoinette (Heembrock) Major.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Fred Hubbell of Jasonville who she married on April 28, 1973; daughter, Kathryn “Katie” Rose Stout (Jason) of Jasonville; granddaughter, Bryn Rose Stout of Jasonville; brother, Mark Major (Cris) of Terre Haute; sister, Joanne (Major) Butler of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Roxanne (Hubbell) Grabbe, of Fairbanks; special niece, Angie (Bennett) Heitman, of Indianapolis; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna was a 1966 graduate of Clinton High School. She served in the United States Navy for 3 years and the Indiana Air National Guard for 23 years. She was a member of St. Peter Church in Linton. Donna enjoyed collecting Campbells Kids, working in her flower gardens and being KiKi to her granddaughter Bryn.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s with Rosary at 10:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Friday February 7, 2020 with Father Biju Thomas officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery at Howesville, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Donna to the Jasonville Public Library or a charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
