Delma Louise Drake, age 91, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully at 4:10 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born in Tulip, IN on October 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Ray Estel Harshman & Faughn Della (Blaker) Harshman.

Delma was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. She worked at Crane periodically for 27 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Solsberry and the Merry Jills group in Owensburg.

She is survived by her daughter, Rae Della Cravens of Bloomfield, IN; son, Larry (Patty) Drake of Plain City, OH; grandchildren, Robin Petoskey of Linton, Stacy Drake of Bloomfield, Amber Fellows of Spencer, Nathan Drake of Starkville, MS, Collin Drake of Springville, IN; step-grandchildren, Aaron VanHook, Chelsea Larson and Melissa VanHook, all of Columbus, OH, Hayden Petoskey, Harlie Petoskey and Kenny Petoskey, all of Linton; great-grandchildren, Case Wright, Rose Wright and Ellena Drake; Sister, Martha Sherrard of Indianapolis; Brother, Albert D. (Roseanna) Harshman of Worthington; former daughter-in-law, Debbie Drake of Owensburg and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Kent Drake; brother, Russell R. Harshman, sister, Marjorie D. Shields and two young siblings.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton. There will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Owensburg Cemetery in Delma's memory.
