David L. Boucher

David L. Boucher, 87, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with his family by his side, on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville. He was born on May 1, 1935 in Carbondale, Illinois to John Henry and Stella Mae (Darnell) Boucher.

David married Charlotte M. (Secrest) Boucher on January 3, 1955.

David was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #22. David retired from Smithville Telephone in 1999 with 42 years of service, 30 years as a supervisor.

Family left to cherish the memory of David include: one son, John L. (Tina) Boucher of Jasonville; grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Pine, Madison (Matt) Haglund; step-grandchildren, Matt Hill and T.J. (Cassidy) Hill; seven great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; one brother, William E. Boucher of Manuck, IL and one sister, Erma L. Burke of Murphysboro, IL.

David was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife. Charlotte Boucher; one son, David L. Boucher and one brother, Donald L. Darnell.

Funeral services to honor the life of David will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Mark Messmer officiating. Military rites will be presented by the American Legion Post #22 at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest in Walker Cemetery at Jasonville.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
