Colten David Scott Whelchel beautiful 2-year-old son of Joshua Ray Whelchel and Chelsea Dawn Blake, bonus son of Robert Allen Leone. Colten passed away on Sunday December 12, 2021, at his home in Bloomfield.

He was born August 17, 2019, in Bloomington, Indiana. He spent his life making many memories with his large loving family. Colten was the youngest of many siblings including Cadence Whelchel, Madalynn Carmichael, Corbin Whelchel, Aliyah Carmichael, Cambria Whelchel, Hannah Carmichael, and Caine Whelchel. He gained two bonus siblings Brandon and Molly Leone. He loved anything with a motor and was trying to drive before he could walk. He enjoyed dinosaurs, tools, animals, and couldn’t hardly be kept indoors.

Colten was loved by anyone who came into his life especially his grandparents Randy and Melissa Blake Charlie Whelchel and Bonnie Kieth, Aunts and Uncles Abigail Parcels (Charles Parcels), Corey Whelchel, Kilea Bales (Matt Bales), Kirstin Gibson (Jake Gibson), Dakota Whelchel (Ashley Setters), and Terri Jackson

Funeral services for Colten were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Rev. Nathan Brooks officiated.
