Carl Michael ‘Mike’ Trueblood, 71, of Newberry, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 19, 1950 in Odon, Indiana to Carl and Donna (Farren) Trueblood. Mike married the love of his life, Susan (Beasley) Trueblood on February 16, 1969.

Mike was a US Navy Veteran and a member of the Odon Lions Club. He retired in 2006 after having spent many years working on road construction.

Family left to cherish the memory of Mike include: one son, Adam (Kacie) Trueblood of Montgomery; one daughter, Cassie (Braden Pence) Trueblood of Shoreline, Washington; grandchildren, Frances Trueblood and Kaebri Trueblood; one brother, Howard (Linda) Trueblood; four sisters, Pat Malone, Nancy Malone, Linda Horn and Diana Sheetz.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Susan Trueblood.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Pastor Debbie Payne officiating. Mike will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.

Family and friends may call from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Odon Lions Club, 103 Lake Drive, Odon, IN 47562. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
