Bobby D. Cox, age 91, of Worthington, passed away at 11:32 am on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Glenburn Home in Linton. He was born in Greene County, IN on August 8, 1931, the son of Walter & Mary Wilma (Dilly) Cox.

He was a 1949 graduate of Switz City High School. He was a truck driver for many years and was also a lifetime member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling with his wife and especially loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty (Stack) Cox of Worthington; son, Ken (Elaine) Cox of California; step-sons, Jerry Price and James Price; grandchildren, Tricia (Michael) Toews, Laura Cox, Zachary (Sara) Price and Laura (Chase Booe) Price; great grandchildren, Jeremy Toews, Justin Toews, Ezra Price, Teddy Price and Wilder Booe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Randall Cox and Dale Cox as well as a step-daughter, Patricia Price.

Graveside service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Worthington.
