New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, March 24, 2026:

March 23, 11:00 a.m., Blake Edward Lake, 36, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for direct contempt of court. His bond was set at $500 cash only. 

March 23, 2:40 p.m., John Allen Hines, 51, Anderson, was arrested on a warrant for intimidation. No bond was allowed. 

March 23, 9:24 p.m., Kenneth Matthew Adams, 38, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $100.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
