New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026:

Oct. 10, 7:19 p.m., Caden Lee Dalton, 32, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of strangulation and domestic battery. No bond was allowed.

Oct. 11, 6:19 p.m., Rachel Hunt, 32, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. Her bond was set at $500 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released after posting $50.

Oct. 12, 8:19 p.m., Gerald Dean Pirtle III, 42, Lyons, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery with a prior unrelated conviction for battery against the same member. No bond was allowed.

Oct. 12, 10:32 p.m., Casey Marie Carver, 34, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Oct. 12, 11:40 p.m., Clifton Edward King, 47, Martinsville, was arrested on a warrant for fraud. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $400.
