New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, July 3, 2025:

July 2, 6:54 p.m., Michelle Renee Field, 51, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of identity deception and criminal trespass. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear and a court order probation violation out of Clay County. On those warrants, no bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
