New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, April 14, 2025:

April 11, 9:24 p.m., Andrew Wayne Helton, 34, Solsberry, was arrested on a preliminary charge of habitual traffic offender. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $400. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Caleb Sipes was the arresting officer. 

April 13, 5:30 p.m., Jeremy Paige Kohn, 39, was arrested on a warrant for direct contempt of court. His bond was set at $500 cash only. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Weeks was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
