New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025:

Oct. 21, 5:31 p.m., Rebecca Shawna Lee Jenkins, 26, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for neglect of dependent/child violations. Her bond was set at $8,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Oct. 22, 1:37 a.m., Steven Eugune Hatton, Sr., 51, Springville, was arrested on a warrant for burglary, intimidation, and invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
