New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024:

Feb. 19, 2:23 PM, Michael David Kuhlenschmidt, 42, Lyons was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangerment. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Zach Goad was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 19, 11:22 PM, Codey Allen Roseberry, 23, Switz City, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Jerrad Pirtle was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
