New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, April 20, 2023:

April 19, 2023, 3:39 PM, Amanda Denise Fish, 36, Lyons, Indiana, was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury. Her bond was set at $2000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She posted $200 cash and was released on April 20. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Sergeant Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
