New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023:

Nov. 14, 1:07 PM, William Cole Padgett, 40, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for intimidation with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Det. Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer. 

Nov. 14, 8:52 PM, Breven Riley Butler, 20, Lyons, was arrested on preliminary charges of driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. His bond was set at $1,000 with 10% cash allowed. Worthington Police Department Officer Caleb Ray was the arresting officer. 

Nov. 15, 2:07 AM, Eric Dean Pratt, 23, Akron, Ohio, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia. He was held on a surety bond only. Linton Police Department Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
