January 3, 2023, 3:54 PM, Dayton Allen Brown, 21, Linton, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on new preliminary charges of felony animal cruelty and misdemeanor neglect of an animal. His bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He posted $500 and was released later the same day.

January 3, 2023, 6:01 PM, Deborah Sue Swenson, 53, Shelburn, Indiana, was arrested on a new preliminary charge of felony residential entry. Her bond was set at $4000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Jasonville Police Officer Andrew Duguay was the arresting officer.

January 3, 2023, 653 PM, Ivan Herbert Evinger, 27, Jasonville, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at his initial hearing on charges of felony domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was also wanted on another warrant issued on a petition to revoke bond in a case involving misdemeanor theft and resisting law enforcement. In that case he was being held without bond.

January 4, 2023, 2:19 AM, Kristy Lynn Chambers, 38, Jasonville, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at her initial hearing on a charge of misdemeanor theft. Her bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was also wanted on another warrant issued out of another county in a case involving misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. Her bond in that case was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Jasonville Police Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer.
