November 28, 2022, 10:42 AM, Shiane Georgina Barnhart, 27, Bloomfield, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of misdemeanor criminal conversion. She was being held without bond.

November 28, 2022, 12:56 PM, Crystal Ann Brawley, 53, Freedom, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at her initial hearing on charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment. Her bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She posted $500 and was released later the same day.

November 29, 2022, 2:42 AM, Meagan Michaelle Gentry, 37, Sandborn, Indiana, was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment and resisting law enforcement. Her bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
