The morning Jail Log for today will be posted later, but for last week, new entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department last Wednesday, December 29, 2021, included:

December 28, 2021, 6:41 p.m. – James David Agnew, 48, Floyds Knobs, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment, operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 and was released on December 29. Greene County Sheriff’s Detective David Elmore was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
