New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, August 9, 2021:

August 6, 1:04 p.m. – Jared Daniel Dorsey, 23, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony intimidation. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 and was released later the same day.

August 6, 6:55 p.m. – James Timothy Merriman, 48, Springville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony dealing methamphetamine – two counts, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, and on a new preliminary charge of felony possession of methamphetamine. His bond in the pending case was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed but he was being held without bond pending court appearance in the new case. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Coy was the arresting officer.

August 6, 7:47 p.m. – Jonathan Lavon Pyne, 49, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the body, and misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the body. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Wayman JR Blazier was the arresting officer.

August 7, 12:52 a.m. – Gabrielle Lynn Wagler, 31, Sandborn, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $100 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer.

August 7, 8:39 p.m. – Julie Gail Johnson, 50, Linton, Ind., was arrested on two warrants issued in cases involving misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior within 10 years and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility with a prior. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $500 and was released later the same day.

August 7, 10:07 p.m. – Joshua Lee Carmichael, 31, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony domestic battery and misdemeanor battery resulting in moderate bodily injury. His bond was set at $10,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Worthington Deputy Marshal Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer.

August 8, 7:40 p.m. – Steven Michael Butler, 28, Springville, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Coy was the arresting officer.

August 8, 9:19 p.m. – Jonathan Michael Robertson, 23, Springville, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and vehicle theft, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Lyons Town Marshal C. Royce Honeycutt was the arresting officer.
