New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, July 13, 2021:

July 12, 1:21 a.m. – John Thomas Rogers, 28, Switz City, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony battery against a law enforcement officer engaged in official duty and misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication by alcohol, resisting law enforcement, and criminal mischief. His bond was set at $19,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $1,900 and was released later the same day. Linton Police Officer Alan Jackson was the arresting officer. July 12, 3:30 p.m. – Bradley Eugene Sparks, 45, Washington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Harrison County for failure to appear in a felony case. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Deb McDonald was the arresting officer.
