July 2, 1:35 p.m. – Jason Ray VanCamp, 29, Mooresville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued when he failed to appear at an initial hearing on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior conviction within 10 years. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $500 and was released on July 5.

July 3, 12:21 a.m. – Jayce Edward Troup, 26, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony battery against a public safety official engaged in official duty and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Kyle Robison was the arresting officer.

July 3, 10:07 p.m. – Jeffrey Edward Schickel, 56, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony possession of methamphetamine. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Camron Frye was the arresting officer.

July 4, 1:12 a.m. – Brandon Adam Christopher Lee Criss, 34, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony intimidation and domestic battery. Bond information not available. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

July 4, 11:31 p.m. – Heather Kay Hamilton, 38, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery with bodily injury. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $100 and was released on July 5. Linton Police Officer Kyle Robison was the arresting officer.

July 5, 12:40 a.m. – Rex Allen Ake, 28, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery with moderate bodily injury. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Nick Yingling was the arresting officer.

July 5, 3:42 a.m. – John C. Melton, 54, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony aggravated battery and intimidation, and misdemeanor aggravated battery, resisting law enforcement, refusal to aid an officer and intimidation. His bond was set at $11,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Davis Aerne was the arresting officer. July 5, 6:35 a.m. – Skyler Todd Cox, 18, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment and minor in possession of alcohol. His bond was set at $4,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $450 and was released later the same day. Linton Police Officer Kyle Robison was the arresting officer.

July 5, 10:22 a.m. – Kevin Douglas Johnson, 46, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Owen County in a case involving felony false informing and misdemeanor public intoxication. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Orry Phipps was the arresting officer.

July 5, 11:39 a.m. – Lindsey Nicole Reynolds, 31, Dugger, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor criminal trespassing, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. She was being held without bond pending court appearance. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

July 5, 11:51 a.m. – Ryan Tyler Reynolds, 36, Dugger, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor criminal trespassing and possession of a handgun without a license, plus a warrant issued out of another county on a probation violation. He was being held without bond pending court appearance in the Greene County case and without bond on the out-of-county warrant. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

July 5, 7:34 p.m. – Karen Sue Arnett, 58, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Parke County in a case involving misdemeanor check deception. She was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.
