New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, October 1, 2019:

September 30, 11:06 p.m. – Ryan Wayne Botkin, 39, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.

September 30, 11:18 p.m. – Theresa Mae Schmitt, 55, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $50 and was released on October 1. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.
