New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • February 10 – Steven Adam Taylor II, 18, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief and misdemeanor possession of alcohol by a minor. His bond was set at $500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was released on February 10. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Davis Aerne was the arresting officer.
  • February 10 – Shambree Leelynn Treadway, 38, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony identity deception. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She was released on February 10 after posting bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy Jason Crouch was the arresting officer.
  • February 10 – Michael Gene Piercefield, Jr., 39, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony auto theft. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Jail Officer H. Wood was the arresting officer.
  • February 10 – Jeremy D. Floerke, 42, Williams, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony neglect of a dependent and misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was released on February 11 after posting bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Wayman J.R. Blazier was the arresting officer.
  • February 12 – Kaitlyn C. Yard, 25, was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana or hashish and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. She was being held without bond.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
