New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, April 16, 2026:

April 15, 3:34 p.m., Brandy Jean Wilkes, 46, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and domestic battery with a deadly weapon. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
