New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, April 17, 2026:

April 16, 7:27 p.m., Scott Andrew Shelton, 48, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for theft. No bond was allowed. 

April 17, 2:15 a.m., Larry Brent Plummer, 66, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of refusal to identify self while stopped for infraction ordinance, refusal to aid an officer, and intimidation. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
