New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, April 15, 2026:

April 15, 3:27 a.m., Ren Daniel Barton, 39, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment and possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
