A woman was arrested on a methamphetamine charge after Greene County sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute at a Solsberry gas station, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Pamela Ann Marie Jackson, 34, who is listed in jail records as homeless, was arrested at 11:17 p.m. Sept. 8 on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony.

Deputy Braxton Clark wrote that officers were dispatched to a dispute involving Jackson and a male individual in the parking lot of the BP gas station at 1543 State Road 45. Jackson reportedly left the business on foot and was found near the intersection of State Road 45 and Sparks Road.

Jackson told deputies the two had argued after the male’s phone fell from a vehicle. Deputies helped locate the phone near the intersection, according to the affidavit.

Clark offered Jackson a ride back to the gas station and asked whether she had anything in her backpack that she should not have. Jackson initially said she did not. After Clark explained that a search would be consensual and read her a Pirtle warning, Jackson reportedly gave officers permission to search the bag.

Before the search began, Jackson allegedly told Clark that a methamphetamine pipe was inside the backpack and acknowledged it belonged to her.

Deputy Todd Chimel reportedly found a glass smoking device containing white powder residue inside a black sock. The residue field-tested positive for methamphetamine, according to court documents.

Jackson was taken to the Greene County Jail. No bond was initially allowed.

During an initial hearing Sept. 10, Jackson’s bond was set at $15,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.
