Woman accused of barging into a man’s house yelling and screaming
/A woman who allegedly barged into a man’s house while yelling and screaming has been arrested and is facing a felony charge for residential entry – breaking and entering.
Jeanna Marie Murawski, 22, was arrested yesterday, Monday, January 11. The jail log shows Murawski with a home address in Linton but court records list her with a home address in rural Bloomfield.
Murawski is accused of entering a residence uninvited in mid-December. Following an investigation into the incident by Officer Andrew Duguay of the Jasonville Police Department, a criminal case was filed against Murawski last Thursday.
According to Officer Duguay, JPD Officer Jacob Gambill responded on Wednesday, December 17, to an incident at a residence on North Lawton Street in Jasonville. The next day, Officer Duguay was dispatched to the same residence when the resident said he had decided to pursue charges.
The resident said he was having a visitation with his juvenile child when his ex-girlfriend, Jeanna Murawski, barged through the door uninvited, yelling and screaming as she came in. The resident said she was yelling that she wanted the child right now. He said he pushed her back out the door.
Officer Duguay reported the resident provided video surveillance footage from a security camera on the porch that corroborated his story.
After the case was filed, a warrant was issued for Murawski’s arrest. She was booked into the Greene County Jail at 1:22 p.m. yesterday. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $400 and was released later the same day.
Murawski is scheduled to appear in Greene Superior Court on January 25 for an initial hearing when she will be formally charged with residential entry – breaking and entering a dwelling, a Level 6 felony.
