Update: Water main break causes city-wide water outage in Jasonville, boil order to follow

Water service has been interrupted for all Jasonville Utilities customers after Mainstream Fiber Optic Company struck a water main.

According to Jasonville Utilities, customers throughout the city will be without water until further notice while utility crews complete the necessary repairs.

Officials said crews are working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible and thanked customers for their patience during the outage.

Once water service has been restored and repairs are complete, the entire water system will remain under a boil water advisory until further notice.

Customers will be notified when water service has been restored and again when the boil water advisory has been lifted. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.
