Two arrested following domestic disturbance investigation in Bloomfield
/Two people were arrested July 29 following a domestic disturbance investigation by the Bloomfield Police Department, with additional charges possible as the investigation continues.
Chase D. Wright, of Bloomington, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery, invasion of privacy and disorderly conduct.
Dawsen L. Hillenberg, of Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of battery, domestic battery, criminal mischief, two counts of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon — one involving a knife and one involving a handgun — and disorderly conduct.
Bloomfield Town Marshal Kenneth Tharp said the investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are preliminary allegations. Wright and Hillenberg are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
