Three injured in Sunday crash on State Road 59
/Three people were injured and transported to area hospitals as a result of a crash involving two vehicles around 12:54 PM today, Sunday, September 11, on South State Road 59 in the area of County Road 200 South.
Deputy Harvey Holt of the Greene County Sheriff's Department, the investigating officer, reported Brandy Oldham of Dugger was driving a Chevrolet Traverse southbound on SR 59 when she lost control of the vehicle on wet pavement and crossed the center line.
Paul Lewis of West Terre Haute was driving a Ford F-150/camper northbound on SR 59 when the crash occurred around 12:54 PM.
According to Deputy Holt, when Oldham crossed the center line, her vehicle collided with the Lewis truck.
Oldham was transported by the Greene County Ambulance Service to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes with a head injury.
Lewis was transported by the Greene County Ambulance Service to Union Hospital in Terre Haute with an arm injury.
Teresa Maher, a passenger in the Lewis truck, was transported by the Greene County Ambulance Service to Union Hospital in Terre Haute with chest and hand injuries.
Deputy Holt referred to all injuries as minor.
In addition to personnel from the Greene County Sheriff's Department and the Greene County Ambulance Service, agencies responding to assist on the scene included the Linton Police Department and the Linton Fire Department.
