Now a flock in Martin County is affected by highly pathogenic H5 Avian Influenza Virus

On December 12, a commercial turkey flock in Martin County was determined to be at high risk of HPAI exposure. To reduce the risk of disease spread, Martin1 was depopulated and has been quarantined. The Martin1 production site is associated with the Daviess1 flock that tested positive for the disease on December 11.

Statewide case count announced; No new cases confirmed in Greene County

INDIANAPOLIS —The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today that 170 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 645 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total. Seventeen Hoosiers have died.
