Linton man arrested for OVWI after parking lot crash

A Linton man with previous convictions for OVWI was arrested after hitting another vehicle in a store’s parking lot. He posted bond and got out of jail but is now back in jail for a probation violation.

When citizens reported seeing dangerous driving behavior in Worthington, a Linton officer, in town to assist a Worthington officer, went after the driver and arrested him. He’s accused of driving drunk with an BAC of .213.

Officer says driver tested with BAC of .318

When an LPD officer saw a pickup truck cross over a center line three times last weekend, it was lights and sirens. The driver failed sobriety tests and ended up in jail. The officer reported the driver had a blood alcohol concentration of .318 – close to four times the legal limit of .08.
