One teen killed, one injured, in Monday night crash in Bloomfield area

Another tragic crash has occurred in Greene County. One teen was killed and one injured in an accident at approximately 9:34 p.m. last night, Monday, December 23.

Greene County Sheriff’s Det. Shawn Cullison reported the crash involving only one vehicle was at the intersection of Antioch Road and Martin Road in the Bloomfield area.

As of 11:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, December 24, names have not been released.

Det. Cullison said one 18-year-old male was pronounced dead on the scene and a 16-year-old juvenile was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital by the Greene County Ambulance Service.

Det. Cullison said the crash is still under investigation.

In addition to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, personnel responded to the scene from the Indiana State Police, the Taylor Township Fire Department and the Greene County Ambulance Service.
