Linton Police Department hiring 911 Operator/Dispatcher

The Linton Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time 911 Operator/Dispatcher.

This position plays a vital role in public safety by answering emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching police, fire, and EMS personnel, and serving as a calm, professional voice during critical situations.

Starting pay ranges from $20.92 to $22.42 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, life insurance, and PERF retirement.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, be a U.S. citizen, and be available to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential.
