Update again Friday at 2: Greene County Courthouse to remain open but some offices will be closed Friday

The Greene County Courthouse is expected to remain open on Friday but some offices will be closed. This post will be updated with any closing information sent to GreeneStreets from county offices/officeholders.

CLOSED FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2022

Greene County Prosecutor’s Office: Due to the continued snowfall and hazardous road conditions, the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office will be closed on Friday, according to Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw.

Greene County Courts, including Circuit, Superior and Magistrate: The Greene County Courts will be closed on Friday, February 4, 2022 due to inclement weather, according to Superior Court Judge Dena Martin.

Greene County Auditor’s Office: Auditor Matt Baker said earlier this week that due to weather conditions, the Auditor’s Office would most likely be closed on Friday.

Greene County Health Department: Closed Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4 due to the weather. Their Covid Testing Site and Covid Vaccination Sites will also be closed for those days. Tentative, depending on how the roads are on Saturday, February 5, they may have to close their Testing and Vaccination sites, but they said they will be sure to call anyone scheduled for Saturday and let them know about the closing.

Greene County Assessor’s Office: Assessor Dawn Abrams says, “Due to inclement weather, our office will be closed today, Friday February 4. We will be working remotely. Please email assessor@co.greene.in.us if you need assistance.”

Greene County Health Department: The COVID Vaccination and Testing Sites will be closed on Saturday, February 5, according to Kerry Roberts from the Health Department.
