William "Will" W. Lacer

William "Will" W. Lacer, 46, of Linton, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 26, 2026, due to health complications. He was born on August 16, 1979, at Mary Sherman Hospital in Sullivan, the son of Ben R. and Carla Sue (Mason) Lacer.

Will lived a life rooted in hard work, simple pleasures, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Farming was a meaningful part of his life for many years, and he took pride in the work it brought. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Ben and Sue Lacer; his children, Ali Lacer and husband Journey Foster, Allyson Jackson, and Damian Loudermilk-Greene; his sister, Betty Lorene Lacer; his brother, Kevin Lacer; and his maternal grandmother, Mildred Mason.

Will was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Betty Lacer; his maternal grandfather, Carl Mason; and his maternal aunt, Cindy Lou Mason.

A visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, of Walton Funeral Service, on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a Sharing of Memories Service at 7:00 PM.
