William D. "Bill" LaPour, age 74, of Worthington, passed away at 4:40 A.M. on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born in Stark, Florida on May 30, 1945, the son of Donald William & Elaine (Gabrielson) LaPour.

Bill served in the United States Navy. He worked in auto body and painting with vehicles during his earlier years, and as a union boilermaker until his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Linton.

Bill enjoyed antique tractors and pulley's, attending auctions, fishing along with feeding the fish and ducks in his pond.

He is survived by two daughters, Angela Marie (Nicholas Kirby) Tompkins and Christy Lynn Hoschar, both of Omaha, Nebraska, two step-sons, Dwight (Cindy) Schneck of Paragon and Doug Schneck of Florida, two brothers, Ronald (Alice) LaPour of Arizona and Kenneth LaPour of Nebraska, ten grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jane Adelia (Eisele) LaPour, and a son, Jack LaPour.

Private arrangements are in care of Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington.

Burial will be held at Walker Cemetery in Greene County.
