Timothy R. Sarris, 66, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully following a short illness on Saturday morning, June 20, 2026. Tim was born in Linton on August 13, 1959, the son of Nick Chris Sarris and Delores Evelyn (Dennis) Sarris. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Chris Nick Sarris; and his parents.

Tim was known for his quiet disposition, gentle spirit, and old-soul wisdom. He enjoyed sharing stories of family history and heritage, helping preserve the memories and traditions that connected generations. Those who knew him appreciated his thoughtful nature and genuine interest he took in his family's roots.

Animals were an important part of Tim's life and brought him great companionship. His beloved pets were central to his day-to-day life, most recently his sweet Yorkie, Boo-Boo, who was a constant source of comfort and joy.

Tim is survived by his brothers, Mark Sarris and Nick Sarris (Tracey); his children, Delora Rippy (Kane), TJ Sarris, Jacinda Sarris, and Nicholas Sarris; his grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Though he lived quietly, Tim's presence was deeply valued by those who loved him. His memory will live on through the stories he shared, the family he loved, and the many lives he touched along the way.

In accordance with Tim's wishes, no formal services will be held.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society in his honor.
